Silver Ball
This is the highest award of recognition which the Marauders have to offer. Only three have been awarded. To be nominated for this award, one's actions must  be witnessed during the battle. Not only must the actions in question be clearly above and beyond  what is normally expected from a Marauder during the course of action but those actions must also be determined to have been:
"UNIQUE AND EXEMPLARY BY THEIR NATURE AS WELL AS DECISIVE IN THEIR EFFECT TO THE OUTCOME OF A MAJOR ENGAGEMENT"

OPPOSITION FORCES AND ASSOCIATE TEAMS AWARDS

The Scarlet Purple-Nickel is well known to the Marauders and to a fair number of none-marauders as well. 
"The Scarlet Purple-Nickel is our equivalent to the Purple Heart. It is awarded in recognition of wounds sustained in paintball combat. If you are shot by a paintball that breaks the skin and draws blood, you get the award. But it must be a bleeding wound. We ain't just fooling around here! I don't want to see no wimpy black and blue bruises or blood-blisters just under the skin. You only get one for a wound that bleeds from a direct paintball hit. If you fall down and cut yourself and start bleeding all over our clean battlefield, then you're just clumsy! Take some money out of petty cash and buy yourself a Band-Aid.
The most recent addition to the Marauders collection is the Brass Ball. This award is our equivalent to the Bronze Star. . It is awarded in recognition of the skillful and exceptional execution of combat tactics as well as personal initiative and leadership under fire. These may seem like just silly paintball awards made up by a bunch of middle aged guys out playing army, but there is no denying the motivational effect of recognition for ones efforts by receiving one of these.  There is a max of three Scarlet Purple Nickels Issued to any one player, the second and third are awarded with a star issued instead of more ribbons.
After 12 more dated and witnessed  occurrences The Extreme Purple Nickel is awarded.  The same goes for Brass Balls

Marauders Receive Awards

Wizard looks on as Brain receives the Scarlet Purple-Nickel From Maj. D. Saster. Minister is on the far right. This is at the Fourth Squad's bivouac at Firebase Freedom.

Now Brain looks on as Wizard receives the Scarlet Purple-Nickel From Predator. This is at the Bear Creek field on one of our road trips in 1998.

Brutal Bob becomes the first Marauder to receive the Brass Ball. Maj. D. Saster presented it at Fort San Miguel in 1998. .
